Eric J. Green, Ph.D., RPT-S
Eric J. Green, Ph.D., is a nationally-recognized, award-winning researcher in child trauma protocols through the use of his original theory, Jungian Play Therapy. He is the author of multiple books including,, “No Child Forgotten,” “Play Therapy with Preteens,” and "Handbook of Jungian Play Therapy.” Dr. Green is a former faculty member at the Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD, where he created and administrated the first graduate certificate program in play therapy on the East coast, as well as trained child psychiatrists in play therapy at JHU’s psych residential program, the #1 med school in the U.S. according to US News and World Report 2010-2019. Dr. Green is a keynote speaker across the U.S and internationally where he trains mental health clinicians in treating children affected by maltreatment. He has been interviewed by national cable news media, including CNN and MSNBC, for his work with children affected by natural disasters. Currently, he is an instructor in the department of psychology at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and maintains a full-time practice in child psychotherapy.
